The Square Pizza Story
Square Pizza Company was born on the Golden Mile in Leicester in summer 2015. With 13 years of previous pizzeria experience we brought forward fusion of flavours to accommodate a very hungry bunch of pizza enthusiasts with a unique flavours and concept, ‘Square Pizza’. The wow word became a regular compliment for Square Pizza Company every time a customer witnessed their first pizza order. For some it boggles the mind to see a box full of pizza with no empty corners which firmly sets the company slogan “…we don’t cut corners, we fill them”.
At Square Pizza Company we learnt everything there is to know about pizzas , we learned about dough in Naples, mozzarella in Campania, spiced paneer and butter chicken in Punjab, leaving no stone unturned. We work extremely hard to ensure the quality of our pizzas is consistent and not compromised by making sure that all ingredients are freshly sourced. The dough is handmade and proved for 24-48 hours, and we bake all our square pizzas in temperatures of 450 degrees to give that golden colour it truly deserves.
Square Pizza Company has brought some of the best-loved classical pizzas, whilst introducing Leicester with Indo-Italian fusion pizzas. This can be anything from simple Margarita pizza with in-house seasoned tomato sauce base and 100% Mozzarella, to the exquisite taste of northern Indian Butter Chicken Pizza, topped with spiced chicken, red onion and jalapenos on a bed of aromatic spiced sauce pizza base. Every square pizza is a delight to the eye, an artistic masterpiece in its own way.
An order from Square Pizza Company isn’t complete without accompanied side dishes, in particular our signature New York Fries. A fresh vegetarian alternative, seasoned fries topped with nacho cheese sauce, chives & sour cream, chopped tomato, jalapeno and spring onion.
At Square Pizza Company we have been recognised and awarded by leading establishments and successfully achieved the British Good Food Award in two consecutive years for 2019 and 2020. Outdoing thousands of British takeaways Square Pizza Company achieved the prestigious Just-Eat Best Takeaway Finalist Award in 2017 and 2018. We have thrived on our reputation for outstanding tasty pizzas, excellent customer service and local community work. Our commitment to the community, whether its supporting the local football team or supporting our chosen Charity ‘Midland Langar Seva Society’ #MLSS to help and support the homeless is just some of our key success factors that has put Square Pizza Company on the map. The journey for Square Pizza Company continues to grow with the success of quality products along with a strong growth of customer base in Leicester and surrounding towns and cities.
