Mithaas; a family run business which was established in 2006. We started our journey by going into the food industry, not knowing what our adventure would be and where it would take us!
A risk it was, but a risk worth taking! So here is our story…
The name Mithaas means sweetness. We decided on this name because we want our customer experience to be sweet. Simple. We are grateful to have loyal customers that have supported us from day 1 and new customers that join our journey!
Our roots come from around India & Africa, with recipes being passed on from generation to generation. The current recipes which we use in our Mithaas dishes!
We had a vision that has remained consistent – we want to serve the absolute best in traditional and fusion Indian food; and that’s what we do!
Coming from a vegetarian background, we are naturally passionate about vegetarian food and the exciting dishes and twists that can be made! Our aim was to create an authentic taste of India, without having to catch a flight!
But wait, we do not stop there, we also take pride in making fresh Indian sweets (mithai) and savouries, all freshly made with our finest, exotic ingredients! Catering for those sweet and savoury taste buds – which is perfect to have with a cup of tea…
Our business has not come without various challenges and obstacles amongst the years. We love what we do which has motivated us to overcome these and strive for the best! We’ve adapted our business in new ways by offering vegan friendly dishes and working with other businesses such as Deliveroo & Uber Eats – making our food more accessible so you can fulfil those cravings!
