Old school friends and university drop-outs, Tom and Alex, took a food orientated trip to the States and fell in love with the downtown burger joints of Miami that produce sustainable and locally sourced burgers paired with an industrial, raw edginess. After spending all their cash on burgers (and a few pints here and there), they headed back to London and launched SoBe Burger, an acronym for South Beach, as a residency in London Fields Brewery. After a successful residency, Tom and Alex launched more SoBe Burger sites across London Shoreditch, Vauxhall and Battersea – earning cult status.
Inspired by the farm-to-table burger joints of Miami, SoBe Burger source the very best British produce to deliver the ultimate burger experience. From classic to double bacon cheeseburgers and all the sides to match, with unmissable vegan options using the ‘Miami Burger’ product range (very on-brand, we know).
SoBe Burger’s very proud to be working with one of the best and most prestigious butchers in the UK – Aubrey Allen. They select only the top 4% of cattle in the British Isles, working in harmony with natural rotation farming and carbon sequestration in the soil, providing ethically and sustainably sourced meat.
Since launch, SoBe have worked closely with Aubrey Allen to produce the perfect beef patty, combining 28 day dry-aged chuck with a secret blend of other cuts to create an award-winning burger.
SoBe Burger took a short break after being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, relaunching in 2022 with their first outpost in Lane7 Leicester and on delivery across the UK.
