Ingredients
☑ 175ml Water
☑ 125g Caster Sugar
☑ 500g Milk Powder
☑ 125 ml Milk
☑ 1 tbsp Cardamom Powder
☑ 1 tbsp Ghee
☑ 75g Crushed Hazelnuts
☑ Jar of Nutella/ Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
☑ 4 Ferrero Rochers (or more if you would like)⠀
Method:
✔ In a big pan on high heat, add your water and sugar and boil for 5-7 mins, occasionally stirring.
✔ Turn down the heat, and stir in your milk powder.
✔ Add in your milk, cardamom powder and ghee and mix.
✔ Stir in your crushed hazelnuts.
✔ Greaseproof the dish you are going to be using, and spread the barfi evenly into the dish.
✔ Pop this in the fridge for 1 and a half hours.
✔ Once the time is up, grab your choc hazelnut jar and spread spread spread! Make sure you have an even layer over the barfi.
✔ Chop your ferrero rochers over the barfi, and set this in the freezer for 45 mins.
✔ Once the times up, take it out and slice!
